It is one of the most important international sustainability rating platforms and manages the first collaborative platform that allows companies to monitor the sustainability performance of their suppliers, across 150 industries and in 110 countries.
EMAS
The Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a voluntary tool created by the European Community that organizations (companies and public bodies) can voluntarily join to assess and improve their environmental performance and provide the public and other interested parties with information about their environmental management.
ISO 14064-1
The ISO 14064-1 certification allows organizations to quantify their GHG emissions in order to implement Carbon Management policies and communicate their commitment to sustainability to their stakeholders.
ISO 14001
Among the most widespread Environmental Management Systems, the one described by the ISO 14001 standard is characterized by the development and implementation of a policy that commits the organization to full compliance with both mandatory (legal) and voluntary requirements (self-imposed or market-driven).
UNI/PDR 125:2022

Italgraniti Group conforms with the environmental regulations envisaged by the ISO 14001 certification and by the EMAS certification, obtained more than 10 years ago. The European EMAS (Eco‑Management
and Audit Scheme) certification measures and controls the reduced environmental impact of production sites, through an environmental management system based on strict parameters.
GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL

GREENGUARD
GREENGUARD is an Environmental Product Certification that verifies low emissions of chemical substances such as phthalates, benzene, amines, and formaldehyde. It is particularly important for companies like ITALGRANITI GROUP that supply contract projects aligned with green building protocols, such as the U.S. LEED system.
BREEAM
BREEAM® (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), developed in 1990 by BRE Global, is one of the world’s leading systems used to measure the environmental and sustainability performance of both new and existing buildings.
WELL
The WELL™ Building Standard (WELL™) is the first sustainability rating system that allows for the measurement, certification, and monitoring of building features that impact the health and well-being of its occupants.
CAM
The Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) are the environmental and ecological requirements defined by the Italian Ministry for the Environment. With the decree of June 23, 2022, the Ministry for Ecological Transition issued a revision of these criteria (Minimum Environmental Criteria for awarding design and construction services for building projects).
CCC
The CCC marking is governed by Chinese regulations and certifies that ITALGRANITI GROUP products have the lowest possible level of natural radioactivity for building materials—lower even than the natural radioactivity found in granite.
CE
The CE mark guarantees product safety. A product bearing the CE mark complies with all safety and consumer protection requirements established by the relevant European directive.
QB UPEC
This is a French quality mark awarded based on the tests defined by the European standard EN 14411 and the technical guidelines of the CSTB.
