MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2024

Italgraniti Group has enlarged and renovated its flagship store in Milan with the project “Italgraniti Penthouse”.

On the occasion of the Milano Design Week, the Milanese showroom of the group was opened up to more than 200 square meters of positive space.

Italgraniti Group thanks all the visitors who, between 15 and 21 April, on the occasion of MDW 2024, visited the new exhibition space, created in the rooms adjacent to the flagship store opened in 2019 in via Statuto.
Called "Italgraniti Penthouse", this additional space doubles the Group's Milanese presence and is organized on two levels: the first floor with windows covering an area of 150 square meters and a mezzanine of a further 50 metres.

With Italgraniti Penthouse, the Group will propose a very concrete and at the same time very refined use of its innovative ceramic materials. Designed as a large apartment, the expanded and renovated showroom will welcome visitors in a polygonal entrance hall. From here you will access the living area, overlooking the city through a large window. A wide perspective characterized by the double volume will give a glimpse of the different rooms of the house until reaching the bedroom, designed as a suite. Through a staircase covered in wood you will go up to the upper floor, where micro-architectures linked to the bathroom environment will act as scenography for the LOOM collection.

Designed by architects and art directors Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, the new exhibition will focus mainly on four of the collections that the Group launched at the last edition of Cersaie - I Travertini, I Cementi, Dorset and Nuances - and will also include a space for LOOM, the brand dedicated to furnishings and accessories covered in porcelain stoneware.

LOOM BY ITALGRANITI

Thanks to a skilful alchemy of performance, functionality and aesthetics, LOOM creates furniture and objects for everyday use with an exquisitely contemporary style: pure geometries, rational lines, volumes with balanced proportions and clear elegance, capable of fitting into any stylistic context and – above all – to harmonize with the ceramic finishes of floors and walls. A distinctive feature of LOOM is, in fact, the possibility of customizing furnishings and accessories with slabs and mosaics from all the 6 mm thick ceramic collections. The ceramic covering makes them design objects perfectly integrated with the environments that host them, for housing projects characterized by maximum stylistic coordination.
