Prepare a layer of gravel (diam. 3/6 mm) of at least 5 cm thickness on the existing substrate. Level the surface with a straightedge and check its flatness.

Place the slabs dry on the gravel, ensuring that the distance between them is uniform across the entire installation surface. Lightly tap with a rubber mallet to stabilize the installation and eliminate any irregularities.

Check the flatness of the installation. Add gravel between the joints to level the pavement. Decorative gravel with a larger diameter than that used on the substrate can also be used.
