Carbon footprint and carbon management

In 2023, ITALGRANITI GROUP obtained ISO 14064-1 certification, thereby initiating the measurement of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions — both direct and indirect — generated by business activities, and formally defining its Carbon Footprint. This important step enabled the Group to adopt a carbon management strategy aimed at the progressive reduction of emissions.

Another important step toward zero emissions

In the context of international agreements promoted by the UN to combat plastic pollution, the global commitment to gradually reduce the production and use of non-recyclable materials is being strengthened. The goal is to prioritize more sustainable solutions, moving beyond the complexity and limitations of recycling alone.
