Energy self-sufficiency of the entire production plant

The energy self-sufficiency of the production plant in San Martino in Rio (RE) is now a reality, marking the achievement of a crucial goal in terms of environmental sustainability. The high-efficiency cogeneration system installed in 2022 has made it possible to reduce

An efficient and sustainable factory

The Group's plant purifies and reuses 100% of waste water. In addition to saving water resources, Italgraniti has eliminated the risk of pollution of surface and underground waters.

Italgraniti Group recovers 100% of discarded, raw and cooked materials within the production process. By maximizing the recovery of waste, the need for new raw materials is reduced and natural resources such as clays and feldspars are saved.

The investments have almost eliminated undifferentiated industrial waste, to date it is only 1% of the total. The containment of waste has contributed to a virtuous production cycle capable of recycling most of the waste that is created during the production phase.

Regenerative afterburner

I Travertini

The innovative system that protects the well-being of the territory

The production site is equipped with two regenerative thermal oxidizers, the second of which was installed at the beginning of 2025. These systems complement the existing fabric filter flue gas treatment system, with the goal of proactively preventing the release of unpleasant odors. The thermal oxidizer is capable of capturing volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
